About Sarthak Kar Mahapatra

Hello everyone!

Primarily I am a Music Composer, singer-songwriter but I am also a naturalist, wildlife photographer, adventurer, and storyteller on the other hand who is constantly seeking knowledge about the untamed beauty of nature, wildlife and birds to learn more about the flora and fauna we share the world with! My love for wildlife and nature was already present since I was a child. I used to watch infotainment channels on TV for hours (BBC Earth, Discovery, National Geographic etc.) to see the beauty of the vast planet and nature. Every creature, being or even objects that thrive in nature fascinates me.

I find it odd how most of us still are unaware of so many different types of creatures, plants that co-exist with us. My journey takes me through forests, mountains, and remote trails, documenting the incredible biodiversity that often goes unnoticed by many. So I created my YouTube channel and this website to carefully present my knowledge about the world while learning, the experiences I gather and everything else I find on my journeys to all nature and wildlife lovers out there!

Every image, documentary, video I take and share with all of you holds a story—of patience, risk, failure, emotions, serenity, hardships of life, survival and the unfiltered raw essence of the wilderness.

Through my website, I aim to share not just photographs, but also my personal experiences which I gather while roaming around the vast world in order to help others understand nature, learn photography techniques, and appreciate the precious yet fragile beauty of our planet.
